This clip is from his Spring/Summer collection of 1999. Even over 10 years ago this guy was so incredibly and truly innovative, it’s RIDIC. His work is so incredible and has the ability to actually provoke tears [I kid you not - I have witnessed it.]
So, this week I will be putting all of you creative types up on game and post a new McQueen masterpiece each day. I am posting this one first because it happens to be one of my favorites for obvious reasons - aka the ROBOTS.
McQueen’s work is more than trends, more than fashion and a runway: it is creative genius, it is theater, it is art.
